I like the ridiculously elaborate and I'm here to serve. Stevie Jackson's the man to ask for romantic advice, though. Not me. Need someone to photograph something? I'm cheap. If you can make some sense out of me, I'm eager to hear it. Well, I *will* say that 'bitter' and 'fatalistic' have been offered, and I certainly do identify with Eeyore, but I also jump up and down and clap like a 6 year old, even when sober. Someone once said, "I'm quite an irkable person" and I suppose that would fit me too. For day to day things the short list might be: Starbucks, Apple, Google, mobile phone jackassery and sandals. The first four are probably more a ubiquity issue. "Of course! Don't YOU too?" Sure, I'll use Google, I'll use anything that might help. But it is not my first and only stop, and I do NOT "google". There the ubiquity ties into standardization: Google and Starbucks are the only things of their kind in the world. Plus I used to serve coffee to Starbucks-conditioned customers. That'll grudgify anyone. The phone use is the only thing that's annoying me in a violating way though. I can't exactly look away. Well, I suppose I can at least not look at your bluetooth, and that helps a little. Plus I'm laughing and don't want to be rude by doing it in your face. Because Steve Jobs has wee beady eyes like the Colonel, smartarse! Sandals, though...I just hate them. Period. Now...I'm not a librarian because I love books, I'm there because I love YOU. This seems to be unusual. I don't get it. Do people do it cause they like to pick up books and put them back down in a different place? Please. Mind you, I'm also a misanthrope, but that doesn't seem to interfere with my work much. I'd like to be writing something again as well. I ought to look into that. and I'm turning into a has been photographer if I don't go find something interesting to look at soon. Though "has been" has inflated connotations, but you know what I mean. Oh yeah, I'm verbose. | |||||
